Special Deck Design

The Compact Rotary Mower deck has been specially designed to makes it more manoeuvrable. With the outside corner positioned further back than on a square deck, you can drive closer to trees before having to turn out. Offset wheels allow the ATV mower to get around obstacles, such as shrubs and flower beds more easily.

Tighter Turning Circle

With 1 wheel set further forward on one side than the other, a tighter turning circle means less strimming has to be done around objects. Our research determined that quad lawnmowers are often used in large landscaped gardens with flower beds/shrubs, so the Quad-X compact rotary mower gives a tidier edge finish and is less time consuming.

Height Adjustment

The height adjustment setting from 19mm-180mm ensures that you can get a tight lawn finish yet can use the mower for light topping. The Quad-X compact rotary mower offers the unique feature of an offset drawbar with top link height adjustment. This top link offers infinite height adjustment to ensure the deck is at the correct level. This can be adjusted each time the deck height is changed to avoid the front of the mower dropping down low and causing the blades to hit the ground. This is essential to give a quality finish.

Control Box Console

The compact rotary mower has a control box console mounted on the machine which can be reached from seated on the ATV, giving you control over blade speed. The machine can be turned on/off and blades can be engaged using controls mounted on the deck.

The Wildcut™ ATV Mower is more efficient than a flail mower with higher work rates and lower maintenance costs. Fitted with 15-6×6 wheels or optional 19-7×8 wheels.

Wildcut™ Heavy Duty

The heavy duty Wildcut mower is suitable for topping areas of overgrown vegetation including light rushes, saplings and bracken. It is available in 15.5hp and 17.5hp Briggs & Stratton engine sizes, both electric start. Fitted with 19-7×8 wheels.

Wildcut™ Extreme Duty

The extreme duty Wildcut mower is an extremely impressive ATV topper suitable for mowing in areas of dense overgrown vegetation including heavy rushes, heather and bracken. It is available in a choice of 2 Briggs & Stratton engine sizes, 16 v-twin and 18 v-twin, both electric start commercial engines which carry a 3 year warranty. Fitted with 19-7×8 wheels.

The Power Shredder is a unique machine designed and developed for outstanding performance in extremely dense vegetation, and gives a more effective result than any flail.

It can reach wet / steep areas that your tractor can’t. With the Power Shredder running in excess of 1000RPM more than a tractor flail, this high speed combined with a specially developed ‘High Flow’ rotor can achieve remarkable results in vegetation up to 6ft / 1.8m in height.

Quad-X have developed the Power Shredder as existing ATV mowers on the market aren’t capable in lough areas, fens, marshes, swamps and bogs which can be home to extremely dense 5-6ft bull rushes/reeds or dense heather, which have become commonplace in wetland areas. The Quad-X Power Shredder will give outstanding results in these areas!

The main challenge in wetland management is preventing invasion by woody plants such as willow and alder and involves cutting and scrub clearance to maintain them. The Power Shredder mulches the material to aid with a faster rate of decomposition which can help boost the fertility of the ground.

Managing rushes and scrub is extremely important, especially with the risk of losing out on your single farm payment so it is vital to keep on top of your rushes. It has also been discovered that cut rushes contain 70% NPK value of farmyard manure. The finely shredded rushes fertilise your ground to help boost grass growth and profitability.

The double bogie option is useful in particularly damp areas to minimise damage to the ground, which is key in conservation and restoration situations.
